UVOX-250 D System components Swimming pools
Continuous disinfection of the water is particularly necessary for the “swimming pool“ application range in order, for example, to counteract algae growth in the pool. Ultraviolet light does not have a repository effect in a swimming pool. In order to maintain the repository effect in private pools WAPURE recommends metering a very small quantity of chlorine (0.1 to 0.3 mg per litre) into the swimming pool.
To do this, WAPURE has added several system components (D) to the UVOX-100 and 250 systems. In addition, the UVOX-D systems have an automatically triggered chlorine/bromine metering system that inject this extremely small quantity of chlorine (or bromine) into the water. Thus, the UVOX-D systems guarantee perfect and crystal clear water involving only minimum care (every 4 to 6 weeks). Swimming pool owners can thus leave their pool unsupervised for several weeks without endangering the quality of the water.
